Below is a video link of a Chinese Firefighter jumping out of the window of a second-floor apartment that's on fire. In the video, the Firefighter is seen by the window attempting to set up some sort of line so he can get down, as the fire continues to grow and conditions get worse. As it gets worse, his bunker gear starts to burn (as any gear probably would at this stage) and he bails out, slides down a drain pipe and lands relatively safely.

Well....today the House and Senate approved the budget that included the Zadroga Act. It was originally introduced as H.R. 1786/S.928 on April 14, 2015 by Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY-12) & Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY). It reauthorizes the World Trade Center Health Program and the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. Finally. Thanks to the elected officials who supported this from the start, and those who saw the light.

Earlier this week we learned of the extreme courage shown by District Fire Chief Don Smith from Ottawa, Canada - when his actions resulted in the saving of a little kids life. It's a big deal.
